I have chosen to become a candidate for State Representative from the 101st district because I care about people.

- As a small business owner I will work to attract business to Reno County, help small businesses grow, and encourage entrepreneurs to begin new businesses, thereby bringing new businesses to our community.

- As a former educator I realize the importance of quality education for all children and I pledge to continue to strengthen our schools.

- As a longtime resident of Reno County I understand the connection between a strong farm economy and economic growth in the 101st District and in Kansas.

- As a parent and supporter of public education I understand the close connection between strong schools and strong economic growth.

I feel it is important to give back to one’s community through public service. I have chosen to serve as a member to the Kansas House of Representatives.
